A perfect Christmas Tree comes in many different shapes and sizes.
Does it need to be tall and skinny, or big and full?
Maybe it needs to fit on a table.
Do you love having a real Christmas Tree, but, man, those allergies?
We have trees that are less fragrant then others.
Do you always fall in love with that unique tree that has a bald spot, or lots of space, or maybe even a crooked trunk?
There are always a few looking for a new home.
Maybe you want to rescue an abandoned tree, yep it happens.
(We keep them in a special area where they get lots of love and care.)
Let us tell you about some of our Christmas Trees...
BUYING YOUR PERFECT TREE
Meet our greeter and get a price list and map of our farm, and grab a warm cup of cider or coffee, and some popcorn for your journey out into the trees.
- Grab a saw if you would like a choose-n-cut tree and head out to choose your perfect tree or peruse our pre-cuts.
When you find that perfect choose -n-cut tree, cut it at the base, either at the ground or couple inches above. - You can carry your tree to one of the lanes around you and wait for a tree hauler who will be by shortly.
Remember don't leave your tree unattended without a numbered 'CLAIM TICKET'.
Did you decide on a pre-cut tree? One of our lot attendants will be happy to assist you in retrieving it and loading it onto a tree hauler. Don't forget your numbered 'CLAIM TICKET'. - Visit your tree in the clerking area, under the big walnut tree in the barnyard, to get your tree processed, even if you just want the tree. (It's best to get there shortly after your tree arrives so that it lessens your wait time for getting your tree processed.)
- The yard clerks, in the red aprons, will give you a pay slip that you can take to the 'Pay House' when your ready.
REMEMBER KEEP THAT CLAIM TICKET!!! - Your 'Perfect Tree' will be processed and be waiting for you in the claim area when you are ready to leave. Take your time and enjoy all the atmosphere, shopping, and activities we have for you.
- An attendant will help you locate your tree by your claim ticket, then feel free to pull your vehicle up to the loading zone to load your 'Perfect Tree'. (Twine is available on the side of the barn)

We have many different varieties of choose-n-cut trees, if your looking for pre-cut firs scroll a little further.
Monterey Pine
You will see Monterey Pines growing the most around our farm. Here are some of their features:
- Groups of Long needles up and down it's branches, which provide the smell of Christmas.
- The Monterey Pine is usually a very bushy tree with lots of branches, which means lots of ornaments.
Coastal Redwoods
You can see Coastal Redwoods all around California, and these trees can grow very tall up to 300 ft.
These trees like many of our trees have a great evergreen smell.
- This tree has long needles and usually long branches. It great tree for light ornaments.
- Coastal Redwoods are great options if you need a tall tree.
Incense Cedars
Incense Cedars are probably one of our most fragrant trees.
- This tree is the best option if fragrance is important, it will definitely bring the Christmas smell to your home.
- It's needles have an interesting look, they can remind one a lot like feathers.
Leyland Cypress
Leyland Cypresses are great trees for people with allergies. Pollen is a big trigger for allergies and this tree does not produce pollen.
- The Leyland Cypress is a great option for people with allergies and looks gorgeous.
- This tree has a delicate look with it's lace like needles, but don't worry it will still hold those family ornaments.
Our Pre-Cut Fir Christmas Trees
Our pre-cut Christmas Trees are firs that we can't grow in this region. We keep them fresh and get many deliveries throughout the season.
Douglas Fir
Douglas Firs are one of the most common Christmas Trees.
- The have soft dark green needles that surround the branch.
- Douglas Firs are usually full trees and make for a great Christmas Tree.
Grand Fir
Grand Fir's are not known to be one of the most popular Christmas Trees, but they are starting to become more popular.
- Grand Firs are a thicker trees with glossy dark green needles.
- Their needles grow in two rows and their branches aren't as stiff as others so lighter ornaments on the tips of the branches are best.
Noble Firs and Nordman Firs
Noble and Nordman firs' have very similar qualities and are sometimes used interchangeably.
- These trees have stiff branches, which make them great for heavy ornaments and for making greenery.
- There needles are all upright and there are small gaps in between the branches that extend straight out. These trees like many others can be tall and skinny or short and fat. They can be full or skimpy, no one tree is the same.
Red Firs (Silver Tips) [Unavailable for the 2019 Season]
Red Firs are gorgeous trees, but can be difficult to come by because they can only grow at a 6000 ft elevation or more. The availability of these trees very greatly on the weather.
- Red Fir's are a bluish green color, often referred to as silver, hence their secondary name Silver Tips.
- Their branches are very stiff and usually have large gaps in between the branches, making it a wonderful tree for large heavy ornaments.
